Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run your account, deliver the courses you buy and keep the service safe:

• Account details: your name, email address and/or mobile number, and the one-time codes we send you to log in or verify them.
• Learning activity: the lessons you watch and complete, your position in a video, notes you write, quiz attempts and scores, course reviews and certificates.
• AI tutor conversations: the questions you type and the answers generated, so the tutor can keep context and so we can enforce daily limits.
• Purchases: your orders, the amount, coupon used, the payment gateway's reference and the confirmation it sends us. We never see or store your full card number, PIN or mobile-wallet password; you enter those on the payment gateway's own page.
• Device and security data: a device identifier, browser type, IP address and login times. PrepZone allows one active device per account, and this data lets us enforce that and detect abuse.
• Error reports: if the site or app crashes, technical details about the error (never your password or one-time codes) may be sent to our error-monitoring service.

2. How we use it

• To create and secure your account and to sign you in.
• To sell and deliver courses, give you access after payment, issue invoices and certificates, and handle refunds.
• To send messages you need: login codes, payment and order confirmations, and important service notices.
• To improve courses and fix problems, using aggregated or de-identified data where we can.
• To prevent fraud, account sharing and misuse of the platform, and to meet our legal obligations.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run PrepZone, and only what they need:

• Payment gateways (such as SSLCommerz and EPS, and the bKash, Nagad and card networks behind them) to process your payment.
• Email and SMS providers to deliver login codes and notifications.
• Cloud hosting, file storage and video delivery providers that store and stream our content and data.
• An AI service provider: the messages you send to the AI tutor are processed by a third-party AI model to produce answers. Do not put sensitive personal information in the tutor chat.
• An error-monitoring provider, which receives technical crash data with personal details removed.
• Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect our rights and users.

Some of these providers process data outside Bangladesh.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of cookies and browser storage entries. They are needed for the service to work: your login session, protection against forged requests, your language and light/dark preference, and the signed cookie that lets you play videos you have paid for. We do not use advertising cookies.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your account and learning data while your account is active. Records of orders, payments and refunds are kept for as long as accounting and tax law require, even if you close your account; in that case we remove your personal details from them and keep only what is needed for the record. Login codes expire within minutes.

6. Security

Traffic to PrepZone is encrypted, paid videos are protected by signed, time-limited links, access to administration is restricted and logged, and we keep our software up to date. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong device lock and never share your login codes.

7. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or delete or anonymise your account. Write to yourprepzone@gmail.com from the email address or contact the number linked to your account. We will answer within a reasonable time; we may need to confirm it is really you first, and we may be unable to delete records the law requires us to keep.

8. Children

Many of our students are still at school. If you are under 18, please use PrepZone with the knowledge and permission of a parent or guardian, who may also contact us about your account.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version; if a change is significant we will tell you on the site or by message.
